Where Rocko the series was produced

The series was not produced at the monster Nicktoons studio on Olive in Burbank. Nicktoons didn't exist back then. My company, Joe Murray Productions melded with Nickelodeon's Games Animation and rented some office space in Studio City on Ventura Blvd, and later moved to another small office building on Vineland.

We occupied a floor of the building all to ourselves, without executives ( who entered at their own risk). It was very loose, with anyone able to make announcements over the paging system. One visitor compared it to a preschool without supervision.

As crazy as it got,, we still pumped out the episodes on time and on budget. All of us Rocko alumni look back on it fondly.
